CBA Board of Visitors raises excellence funds

The College of Business Administration and its Board of Visitors has launched a Council of Excellence drive to raise funds for retaining and recruiting outstanding faculty.

By mid-October, the campaign had raised more than $10,500 to be used for faculty applied research projects, travel and registration for professional meetings, recruiting expenses and professional dues.

Members of the Council of Excellence have contributed $500 or more to the college. Charter members are: Frank Auer; Stacy L. Bankston, AEP SWEPCO; T. Brian Bond, AEP SWEPCO; Jeff Burford; Caddo Management (Kathy Malone); Cole Evans & Peterson, CPAs;, Davison Transport, Inc. (James E. Davison); John W. Dean; Richard K. Glasgow, AEP SWEPCO; Robert B. Hamm; Hardware Distribution Warehouse (Kenny Beauvais); Horseshoe Casino & Hotel and Harrah’s Louisiana Downs; Iberia Bank (Pat Yates); Integra Insurance Services LLC (Doug Rogers); Raymond S. Morris, in memory of his father, Dr. Max Morris; George D. Nelson Jr.; David M. Oliver; Dwight L. Pugh; Roberts, Cherry and Company (Stephen Roberts), and H. E. “Bud” Storer.

Yates is the Board of Visitors chair, Bond is vice chair and Malone is immediate past chair.
