Weather or Not?

KSLA-TV Meteorologist Ed Duranczyk discusses types of severe weather with a group of Bossier and Caddo parish middle school teachers as part of an LSUS Math Science Partnership institute conducted by Dr. Laura Whitlock, assistant professor of physics. In their second year, the pair of two-week summer institutes provide content-rich curricula through a working partnership among Bossier and Caddo schools, LSUS and Sci-Port Discovery Center. Whitlock said the response to the institutes has been so positive that the program will expand to include a third two-week institute for high school teachers.
