German Labor Reforms
Dr.
Michael Burda, a Shreveport native and professor
of economics at Humboldt University in Berlin,
Germany, discusses labor market reforms in Germany
in an LSUS presentation hosted by the College of
Business Administration. The then-Jesuit High School
graduate received a Ph.D. degree from Harvard University
in 1987 and has been a visiting professor of economics
at the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business. He
was twice a guest instructor at the Advanced Studies
program at Germany’s Kiel Institute for the
World Economy and has authored several textbooks
and dozens of articles and textbook chapters. |
