Best of the Best

Dr. Lisa Burke, LSUS associate professor of management, delivers a fast-paced presentation to the 52 initiates in the LSUS chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. The 47 student initiates included 12 graduate students, 19 seniors and 16 juniors. Five faculty members were among the initiates. The primary goal of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, America’s oldest and most selective honor society, is the recognition of superior scholarship in all disciplines – “the best of the best across campus.”


LSUS initiates 52 into Phi Kappa Phi

A total of 47 students and five LSUS faculty and staff have been initiated into the LSUS chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. The students included 12 graduate students, 19 seniors and 16 juniors.

The primary goal of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, America’s oldest and most selective honor society, is the recognition of superior scholarship in all disciplines – “the best of the best across campus.”

The initiates, listed by hometown, are:
