Philanthropic Family

A plaque representing the 2006 Philanthropy Award presented by the LSUS Institute for Human Services and Public Policy is displayed by Sugar Woods (center) following an awards presentation luncheon in the LSUS University Center Ballroom. Involved in the awards presentation are (from left) Dr. Norm Dolch, LSUS professor of sociology and director of the Institute; John Odum; Simone Hennessee, executive director of Providence House; Sugar Woods; Norman Kinsey; Mike Woods, and his wife Tracie. Odum, Hennessee and Kinsey shared anecdotes about the Woods family and its patriarch, the late Dalton Woods. The luncheon was held in conjunction with the Institute-sponsored Small Nonprofit Conference.
