LSUS Chancellor Vincent Marsala presents a token
of the university’s appreciation to state Sen. Sherri
Smith Cheek (R-38) for her ongoing support of LSUS
in the Louisiana Legislature. The LSUS alumna is vice
chair of the Health & Welfare Committee and serves
on the Environmental Quality, Finance and Labor & Industrial
Relations committees. She is also a member of the Select
Committee on Women & Children and the Joint Legislative
Committee on the Budget. The LSUS campus is in Cheek’s
senate district. |
