Human Nature

George A. Khoury Jr. holds a framed set of photographs presented to him by Laura Meiki (left), instructor of American Humanics, on behalf of the students who attended the American Humanics Management Institute in San Diego in early January. Also on hand for the presentation are Vannie Thompson, a student in the Master of Science in Human Services Administration program and Ben Arnold, an American Humanics graduate who is development director for the North Louisiana Food Bank. Khoury is a long-time financial supporter of LSUS and the American Humanics program, having endowed professorships and scholarships in several areas of the university. He told the American Humanics gathering he expects to reach the $1.5 million mark in contributions to LSUS this summer.
