MIKE WOODS
PRESIDENT
President of Woods Operating, Inc., Mike is an LSUS graduate and has been a member of the Board since 1996.

JAMES K. ELROD
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
One of only two chief executive officers in the history of Willis-Knighton Health System, Jim celebrated his 40th anniversary as the Health System’s leader in 2005. He was LSUS Pilot of the Year in 2000.

B. BRUCE SIMON
VICE PRESIDENT
Bruce is owner of Bruce Simon Construction. His ties with LSUS date back to 1967 when he was a part of the first entering freshman class in LSUS history.

SECRETARY-TREASURER
Bob is CEO of FitzGerald Contractors, Inc. He is serving his first term on the Board and has been a member of the Foundation since 2000.

DIRECTORS

JOE N. AVERETT JR. – Formerly President of Crystal Gas Storage, Inc., Joe has been a member of the Board since 1996 and was President from 1998 to 2000. He and his wife, Abby, were LSUS Pilots of the Year in 2002.

T. BRIAN BOND – Brian is Vice President of External Affairs at AEP SWEPCO and joined the Board in 2004. He is a 1982 LSUS graduate and was named LSUS Distinguished Alumnus of the Year in 2005.

ROBERT BOWMAN – Robert is President of Bowman Internet Systems and has served on the Board since 2003.

ED BRADLEY – Ed is General Manager of KSLA Television. He has been a Foundation member since 2003 and joined the Board in 2004.

JOE B. CALLAWAY JR. – Joe is Managing Director of Risk Services of Louisiana and has been a Foundation member since 1985. He joined the Board in 1990 and was President from 1993 to 1995.

JOHN D. CARUTHERS JR. – John D. has been involved with numerous business interests including the oil and gas industry. He was a founding member of the Foundation and joined the Board in 2004.

EARLENE COLEMAN – Earlene is a local State Farm Agent and joined the Board in 2002. She is active in local community organizations.

BOBBIE HICKS – Bobbie is involved in many local community activities. She first became a Foundation member in 1991 and joined the Board in 2005.

BOBBY E. JELKS – Bobby was a partner at KPMG for many years and recently joined Franks Management Company. He served as Foundation President from 1995 to 1996 and has been on the Board since 1990.

GEORGE A. KHOURY JR. – George is a retired petroleum engineer with Exxon Mobil and joined the Board in 2001. He was LSUS Pilot of the Year in 2004.

MARGARET W. KINSEY – Peggy received her degree from LSUS in 1984. She was President of the LSUS Foundation from 1996 to 1998 and has served on the Board since 1990. The LSUS Alumni Association honored her in 2000 with the Distinguished Alumna of the Year Award. She and her husband, Norman, were LSUS Pilots of the Year in 2001.

HARRY E. MCINNIS JR. – Harry is President of McInnis Construction. He served as Foundation President from 2000 to 2002 and has served on the Board since 1995.

CAROLYN Q. NELSON – Carolyn is the Managing Director of Querbes and Nelson. She joined the Board in 2003 and served as Vice President in 2004-05. She has been a member of the Foundation since 2001.

PHILLIP ROZEMAN, M.D. – Phillip is a cardiologist and President of Cardiovascular Consultants and joined the Board in 2002. He is a 1977 LSUS graduate. He was named the LSUS Alumni Association Distinguished Alumnus of the Year for 2002.

HAROLD TURNER – Harold is Executive Vice President for Hibernia Bank and has been a Board member since 2001.

LACY WILLIAMS, M.D. – The President of Will-Drill Production, Inc., Lacy joined the board in 2004.
