Dr. Donna Austin, dean of the Division of Continuing Education and Public Service, explains the purpose of the LSUS Career Fair to NewsChannel6 (KTAL-TV) Photographer Art Nerio. The fair, organized by the LSUS Career Center, drew more than 400 students and graduates to talk with representatives of nearly 60 employers and educational institutions. Among the employers recruiting at the fair were Lowe’s, McDonald’s, Walt Disney World, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Sherwin Williams and CH Robinson Worldwide. Representatives from university graduate schools as far away as Ft. Worth, Texas, commented that LSUS’ reputation for academic excellence makes it a priority recruiting opportunity for their graduate programs.
