Along the Highways of Life
Four LSUS students are featured in the photograph on
this billboard, one of four designs being displayed
initially in 15 locations around Shreveport-Bossier,
on I-20 at Waskom, Texas, and Minden, and on I-49 at
the Powhatan exit. The other three images and a discussion
of the billboard campaign are the topic of the chancellor’s
column on the other half of this page. The students
in this mock-up image, are (from left) Christopher J.
Leon, senior computer science major; Laurie Clarke,
freshman math major; Svellana Bluffton, freshman computer
science major, and Sarah Williams, freshman elementary
education major. All four aspire to wear the cap and
gown to receive their LSUS degrees.
