Like Mother Like Daughter

The spring 2004 Student Teacher Reception saw this happy combination of family, experience and youth. Candi Bagley (left), assistant professor of education, listens to Carolyn Pierce (right), as do Linda Cranford (second from left) and Amanda Priestly, one of the student teachers honored at the reception. Cranford is Priestly’s mother and is also a cooperating teacher at Princeton Elementary School in Bossier Parish. Pierce was Priestly’s cooperating teacher at Apollo Elementary School in Bossier City. Bagley is the faculty advisor for the LSUS Louisiana Association of Educators-Student Program. The semi-annual receptions recognize the student teachers, cooperating teachers and school administrators.
