Priming the LaPrep Pump

Dr. Carlos Spaht III (left), professor of mathematics and director of the LSUS LaPrep program, expresses his gratitude for a $10,000 donation from L. Frank Moore, president of the Community Foundation of Shreveport-Bossier, to support the LaPrep program held each summer. The presentation was made during an LSUS Foundation Board of Directors meeting in March, at which time Moore also presented a $43,090 check to Chancellor Vince Marsala to fund the Annie Lowe Stiles Scholarships at LSUS. Joe N. Averett Jr. (seated) is a past president of the LSUS Foundation and a member of the Community Foundation board.
