2003 Pilot of the Year and Her ‘Crew’

Virginia K. Shehee and her children take a moment together at the close of the Fifth Annual LSUS RiverBend Revue, which honored Mrs. Shehee as the 2003 Pilot of the Year. She was recognized for her untiring local philanthropy and her notable support for LSUS. With her are (from left) her son, Andy, and daughters Shane, Margaret and Nell. At the Sept. 4 black tie dinner at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel Riverdome, she playfully was “roasted” by family and friends and characterized in a Marilyn Joiner-written “The Queen and I,” a parody of the classic musical comedy, “The King and I.”
