From Mena, go east on Ark. Hwy. 8 about 18 miles to edge of Big Fork.

NOTE:  DO NOT TURN onto the west end of Polk County Road 61 about 8 ½ miles from Mena.

 

From Norman go west from Norman on Ark. Hwy. 8 about 18 miles to west edge of Big Fork.

 

Go west from the west edge of Big Fork (just west of Butcherknife Creek) on Polk County Rd. 61 (=Heath Valley Road) for 2.1 miles.  NOTE:  Do NOT turn on Polk County Rd. 61 near Board Camp (same road, three times as far!).

 

Turn left onto Polk County Rd. (PCR) 84 for 0.5 mile

 

At fork in road, go left on Polk Rd. 615, passing a pasture with manufactured homes on the right.  The Station is in the mountains on the right, back of the pasture.  Continue on the road which curves around to the right, crossing a concrete ford on Butcherknife Creek.  The ford is about 0.7 of a mile from the intersection of PCR 84 and PCR 615.

 

Go 300 yards beyond the creek.  When near a house, keep to the right on a narrow lane.  Cross the cattle guard and follow the lane around the pasture for 0.2 of a mile to the OMBS gate and next cattle guard.
