A comprehensive, multidisciplinary program based upon a year-round cycle of events that encompass students, faculty and the community through a variety of formats that explore the American heritage and its relevance for today. Founded in the fall of 1982, it is the largest privately endowed program at LSUS and the recipient of several awards, including the Cultural Olympiad designation. Components of the Center include the annual Washington Semester, the Frank and Virginia Williams Lincoln Lecture, Colonial Williamsburg Summer Teacher Institute, the Presidential Conference Series, and the Faculty Fellowship.
