How to renew library materials

You can renew your materials through the online catalog. If you have any difficulties renewing your materials, please contact the library circulation desk by phone at (318) 797-5225, or by email at libcircdesk@lsus.edu.

*Please note that interlibrary loan materials must be renewed through ILLiad.

• Click on the link at the bottom of this page to visit the library catalog. From the library's home page, you would click on "Find books & other materials" to get to the library catalog.
• Click on "My Account."
• Click on "Renew My Materials."
• Put in your LSUS ID.
• Put in your PIN. (Click HERE if you have forgotten your PIN.)
• Click on "List Charged Items."
• To renew all of your materials, click the button "Renew All."
• To renew SOME, but not ALL, of your materials, click "Renew Selected Items" above the item list. Check the boxes next to the items you wish to renew, then click the "Renew Selected Items" button below the item list.

Please note:

If you go straight to "Renew My Materials," the system does not give any indication that overdue fines may have accrued.

To find out if you owe any fines for overdue materials, go to "Review My Materials" under "My Account."

If your accumulated overdue fines are $10 or greater, the system will not allow you to renew online. Please contact the library circulation desk to request a renewal and arrange for payment of late fees.
