Electronic Books
Along with physical books shelved within the library, searches in the library catalog with retrieve records for electronic books via NetLibrary's website.
- When you find a record for a NetLibrary eBook, you can browse the book online.
- When you are searching the library catalog from off-campus, you will be prompted to authenticate in order to view the contents of an eBook. Log in with your LSUS ID and your month/day of birth in MMDD format for your PIN.
- You can also create a NetLibrary account in order to mark items as "favorites," or take notes and save them.
Records for NetLibrary eBooks that you encounter in the library catalog will look like this:

Click on the web address (at the very bottom of the record, following HTTP) in order to go directly to the eBook record in NetLibrary.
The NetLibrary eBook record will look like this:

From this screen, you can browse the eBook (no user name or password is needed). If you wish to check out an eBook, you must first create an account from a computer on campus. You may then log in and check out the eBook.
