About the Series

The LSUS Public Symposiums and Conferences series seeks to promote those informational venues led by scholars, researchers, and business and industry leaders which give such individuals an opportunity to present and discuss their work and recent events in their fields. Panel and roundtable discussions, visual presentations, and workshops may, and typically are, a part of the conferences. In fact, audience participation is generally encouraged! Depending on the theme and nature of the conference, a social reception may be scheduled to give the presenters and audience members a chance to share ideas face-to-face.
