Welcome to the LSUS University Lecture Series

Louisiana State University in Shreveport is pleased to announce its University Lecture Series. In a campuswide effort, the University Lecture Series seeks to provide quality programs to LSUS students and faculty and the community to stimulate and enhance the intellectual atmosphere surrounding LSUS. Making up the University Lecture Series are the LSUS Distinguished Lecture Series, the LSUS Artists and Entertainment Series, and LSUS Public Symposiums and Conferences, providing a variety of topics sure to engage any listener.

The LSUS University Lecture Series is organized and managed by the LSUS Office of University Development, with additional support provided by the LSUS Foundation, LSUS Office of Student Activities, and various programs, departments and institutes across campus. In addition, special lectures may be planned, supported or jointly sponsored by LSUS and interested community organizations.

Academic Integrity Speaker at LSU Shreveport: Former U.S. Naval Academy Student to Share Experience After Cheating (2/18/2010)

LSU Shreveport will present a lecture by Lewis Sims, a former U.S. Naval Academy midshipman, on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.  The Academic Integrity Lecture, which will be in the University Center Theatre, is free and open to the public.
