Milton Finley Scholarship for Excellence in History and the Social Sciences
Purpose:	Established in honor of Professor Emeritus of History Milton Finley
Award value:	$1000 annually, $500 per semester
Major:	Full-time History or Social Sciences Major
Selection Criteria:	(1) academic performance, (2) character, community involvement, (3) full time status, continuous enrollment in academic year awarded, (4) financial need may be considered but is not restricted as consideration, (5) AND two letters of recommendation from the following: faculty with whom you have taken a class, academic advisor, employer, clergy, or anyone who can attest to your character, work ethic, contribution to the community, etc.
Restriction:	(1) may receive the award only once, (2) no limitation on use
