Purpose:	Recognition of excellence in memory of Professor H.J. Sachs
Award value:	$600 ($300 each in fall and spring semesters)

Selection Criteria:	The recipient must be an English or English Education major at LSUS. Elements considered include academic excellence, interest in the academic area, and financial need.
Recipient Selection:	Application: Through the College of Liberal Arts, either online or in person.
