About the College
To the extent to which education can be supplemented and enhanced by technology, Louisiana State University in Shreveport and the College of Liberal Arts have enjoyed the benefits of an outstandingly successful director and staff in the Office of Sponsored Research and the student-centered, exemplary management of the university Technology Fee. The result has been the development of a variety of multimedia classrooms equipped with internet access and multiple projection capabilities, a state-of-the-art film classroom, and hands-on computer labs available for students in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Graphics, Journalism, and Foreign Languages.
