Criminal Justice
A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice provides students with knowledge of and a basic understanding in the practices and problems within major fields in criminal justice including law enforcement, courts/judiciary, corrections, forensic science and private security, as well as juvenile justice administration and probation and parole. The criminal justice curriculum assists students in developing a number of skills essential to effective job performance within the fields of criminal justice, including analytical thinking, written and communication skills, as well as an appreciation for the values and operations of the legal, criminal justice and juvenile justice systems.

Geography Degree
Students majoring in geography will receive an extensive knowledge in the physical, cultural, and technological aspects of the discipline. The degree prepares students for advanced degrees in geography, meteorology, geographic information systems, data analysis, and remote sensing. The degree provides the student with a broad basis for positions in the public and private sector.

History Degree
An undergraduate degree in history prepares students for a variety of academic and corporate career opportunities, including the pursuit of advanced degrees in history, law, and education. The degree provides the student with a well-rounded education that private and public business sectors desire.

Political Science
An undergraduate degree in political science prepares students with reasoning and analytical skills, as well as competence in oral and written expression, so that they may enter federal, state and local government, private work within interest groups, campaign management and political polling, as well as pursue advanced degrees in the law, education, journalism and political science.

Sociology Degree
Students majoring in sociology will receive the highest degree of education to prepare them for careers in human services, social services, criminal justice, education, government, research and business. The sociology curriculum offers an excellent foundation for advanced study in fields such as program administration, law enforcement, and data analysis.
