A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice provides students with knowledge of and
a basic understanding in the practices and problems within major fields in criminal
justice including law enforcement, courts/judiciary, corrections, forensic science
and private security, as well as juvenile justice administration and probation
and parole. The criminal justice curriculum assists students in developing a
number of skills essential to effective job performance within the fields of
criminal justice, including analytical thinking, written and communication skills,
as well as an appreciation for the values and operations of the legal, criminal
