  DR. LYNN WALFORD
A native of California, Lynn Walford emigrated to Mexico City in 1968 and lived there for eleven years. After moving to Shreveport in 1979, she attended LSUS, where she earned a B.A. in English and the M.L.A. degree with a concentration in English and Spanish literature. In 2000 she earned the ph.D. in Comparative Literature from LSU-Baton Rouge. her primary area of interest is contemporary Latin American literature, and she is currently working on two research projects: a study of literary interpretations of utopia, and an investigation of the controversies surrounding testimonial literature.
