Stacey Martino is a graduate of the LSUS American Humanics program with a degree in Sociology and a Masters in Gerontology from University of Louisiana in Monroe. Her career at the Institute began in 2003 as the Applied Research Project Manager. Her current position as the Interim Director of the Institute began in December 2008. She has served in many capacities such as adjunct professor and sits on the regional committee for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dr. Wise is the Applied Research Coordinator for the Institute, as well as a sociology assistant professor for the Department of History and Social Sciences. She is also the Campus Executive Director for the American Humanics Program and the Director for the Masters in Human Services Administration.
   

 

Faculty

The programs of the institute are multidisciplinary, and the faculty members are involved in teaching courses from various colleges and departments. Full-time faculty members are supplemented with adjunct professors, who are integral members of the instructional staff.
