Louisiana State University in Shreveport is accredited as a Level IV Institution by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award degrees at the Associate, Baccalaureate, Master's and Educational Specialist levels.
LSUS has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1975. The University was last reviewed in 2005 and its next reaffirmation is scheduled for 2015.
