Our full-time faculty positions are advertised in the Chronicle of Higher Education or other appropriate specialty publication. Administrative staff and other unclassified staff positions are normally advertised in local and regional newspapers as appropriate. We will maintain a listing of advertised positions on this website. Part-time positions are filled by via the appropriate instructional department and inquiries should be made directly to the area in which you are interested.

Clerical, University Police, Other
Civil Service positions, requiring tests, are filled via application through Civil Service Job Search. You can reach JOB SEARCH through the following website: www.dscs.state.la.us. Applicants must successfully pass an appropriate written test as well as typing skills test (if applicable). Occasionally there are temporary positions available which would not require testing. All vacancies which require tests are maintained on the Civil Service website.

Facility Services Positions
Facility services positions include grounds, custodial, power plant, and skilled crafts. Most of these positions, even though filled through Louisiana's Department of Civil Service, are not tested but have ratings based on experience.
