LSU System Annual Enrollment Meeting / Benefits Fair

The LSU System Annual Enrollment Meeting / Benefits fair will be held Tuesday, April, 7, 2009  at the University Center (UC) Theater.

LSU First Meeting:

  • CIGNA will present the LSU First health insurance plan at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.  After the presentation, there will be a special 30-minute Q&A session for retirees.

Benefits Fair

  • LSU System plan vendors will have tables set up immdiately outside the UC Theater "benefits fair style" on Tuesday, April 7th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. 
  • LSU System vendors will be available to meet with employees one-on-one. 
  • Vendors in attendance will be: Ameritas (Dental), Hartford (Long-term disability), AlwaysCare (Vision), CIGNA (LSU First health insurance), ExpressScripts (LSU First Pharmacy plan) and Gilsbar (New Flex Spending Administrator).  
  • AlwaysCare is offering FREE Vision screens to employees and retirees during the benefits fair.

The Office of Group Benefits will not present on Tuesday, April 7th.

  • This meeting is for LSU System Plans Only. Details to follow on the State Office of Group Benefit Plans (HMO, PPO, EPO).

Office of Group Benefits rates have been published!

  • The Office of Group Benefits rates for the 2009-2010 plan year have been published. There is a 3% increase. CLICK HERE

LSU First (CIGNA) rates have been published!

  • LSU First is pleased to announe that there are NO INCREASES in premiums for the 2009-2010 plan year!  CLICK HERE

Health Insurance Enrollment Forms

New Enrollment: Employees who wish to enroll in one of the health insurance plans will need to complete the following forms and turn into the Office of Human Resource Management no later than 4:30 pm on Thursday, April 30th. Coverage will be effective beginning July 1, 2009. Payroll deductions will begin on June 20, 2009.
