How do I apply my Aid using COMPASS? |

After your request for financial aid has been evaluated you will receive an award letter. At the same time your financial aid awards are posted on COMPASS. Using your student ID and your password you can view your awards on COMPASS. Three weeks before the fee payment deadline a drop down box is added to COMPASS. Logon to the system, click on Financial Aid, then Financial Aid Approval, click on the semester, change the “NO” to “YES” and your awards will be applied against your tuition and fees. On “My Schedule” scroll down to the bottom and you can view your tuition and fees charges, any Financial Aid applied and your balance. If your Financial Aid was greater than your tuition and fees you will receive a credit balance check the first two days of classes. Checks are issued by Accounting Services. Contact Accounting Services for the location where checks are passed out. You will need a picture ID to obtain your check. If you do not pick up your check it is mailed to you. If you are awarded Financial Aid after school begins or your funds are disbursed after school begins your credit balance check is mailed. |
