You have applied for aid, now what?
After you have submitted the FAFSA to the Department of Education you will receive an acknowledgement back. Print out the acknowledgement, it will tell you if you qualify for a Pell Grant, if you need to make corrections to your FAFSA or if your application has been submitted in a process called verification. The Financial Aid Office will mail you a letter if you need to submit additional documents. After your financial aid file is complete and you are unconditionally accepted for admission your request will reviewed and you will be mailed an award letter. This letter will list the financial aid that you have been offered. |
