LSU Shreveport Policy Statements
The intent of the Policy Manual is to prepare a single collection of official written policies of the University. It cannot be exhaustive on a particular subject, but it does approach a comprehensive expression of a need to document the University's purpose and governing constraints.

LSU System Permanent Memorandums
Permanent Memorandums are published by the LSU System. These memorandums apply to all university's within the LSU System.

Faculty Handbook

This handbook is designed to help faculty carry out responsibilities, including teaching, student advising, and research. In addition, certain administrative and student matters as well as fiscal policies are included.

Undergraduate Courses and Curricula Handbook
Requires Adobe PDF* Reader.
This handbook contains information, practices, and procedures regarding the development or revision of undergraduate courses and curricula. Appropriate forms and detailed instructions are provided for adding or changing curricula, courses, minors, and concentrations.

Graduate Policies and Procedures Manual
Requires Adobe PDF* Reader.

This handbook should be used by both students and faculty for information and appropriate forms concerning the Graduate Council, graduate faculty membership and teaching loads, curricula, assistantships, and graduate appeals procedures.

Staff Handbook

This handbook is designed to help staff carry out responsibilities.

Student Conduct Code
The University has a responsibility to protect its educational purposes, and, as a corollary, to protect all members of the University community. The proper use of the University's disciplinary power is to protect the academic environment of the campus and the health and safety of all members of the University community. To accomplish these objectives, the University must establish and enforce standards of conduct for its students. The University has the legal right to establish reasonable standards for academic and personal conduct and membership and continued membership in the University community; to deny membership to those applicants who do not meet these standards; and to impose reasonable disciplinary sanctions on students who are determined to be responsible for violating these standards.

Student Handbook
All students should be familiar with the contents of this handbook because they are responsible for compliance with university policies governing student life. The policies and descriptions of services may be altered to carry out the purposes and objectives of the university; therefore, the university reserves the right to change any of this material at any time

Services for Students with Disabilities - Faculty Manual
Requires Adobe PDF* Reader.
This handbook is designed to provide faculty with information regarding the University's commitment to students with disabilities and to explain faculty rights and responsibilities. The manual includes the University's obligation to students with disabilities, disability law and higher education, a description of various disabilities, and suggestions for communication.

Services for Students with Disabilities - Student Manual

This handbook is designed to inform potential and enrolled students of services for students with disabilities. The handbook includes the rights and responsibilities of students and the University, a summary of disability law in higher education, a description of services, tips for working with professors, and a list of resources.
