Dr. Marjan Trutschl is an assistant professor at the Louisiana State University and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (aka LSU Medical Center) in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is also a co-founder of AnVil, Inc. Marjan has more than a decade of software development and research experience. He participated in research funded by Genetics Institute (now Wyeth), Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Spacetec IMC (now Logitech) and by the U.S. Air Force, just to name a few. His research activities focus on information and scientific data visualization, biomedical informatics, neural networks, data mining, and knowledge discovery. He has worked on consulting projects related to visual and analytical analysis of data sets, databases, Internet, systems administration and networking. Marjan received
a Sc.D. and M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts
in 2002 and 1997, and a B.S. degree in Computer Science with option
in Electronics from Louisiana State University in 1994. He has also
received numerous professional and academic awards on both undergraduate
and graduate level. |
