Psychology
Psychology is the scientific study of behavior. The requirements for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology are designed to introduce the student to the broad spectrum of psychologic knowledge and skills, including an early exposure to research methods and statistics. The psychology major prepares students for entry-level employment and for graduate study in psychology and related fields. Two graduate programs offered at LSUS serve to further prepare students for careers in psychology — The Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and the Specialist in School Psychology.
