Assistantships
Full and part-time assistantships are available. They pay a stipend per semester, plus 6-12 hours of tuition. Residents from other states are welcome to apply as they will not be charged an out-of-state fee. State residency is established with registration at the university.

Scholarships
ScholarshipsFamily and friends of Dr. Jimmie Smith established a scholarship fund upon his death to benefit students of psychology at LSUS. Dr. Smith was one of the founding faculty members at LSUS. During his service, he contributed significantly to the formation of the university’s reputation for excellence. The purpose of the scholarship is to benefit students in the pursuit of a graduate degree in psychology.
