WELCOME!
Thank you for your interest in the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology Program at LSUS!

As you may already know, the MSCP program was designed to train professional counselors in a variety of areas by utilizing the “theorist-practitioner model” of training. By joining the MSCP program, you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience needed to meet the academic requirements for the Licensed Professional Counselor credential that enables you to work at the independent practice level.

We would like to remind you of the deadline dates for all materials to be received in the Office of Admissions and Records prior to a student being allowed admission to graduate study at LSUS. The dates are:

  • June 30 for Fall
  • November 30 for Spring
  • April 30 for Summer

These deadlines include all official graduate and undergraduate transcripts as well as any other paperwork required for admission to LSUS.

Thank you, again for your interest in the MSCP program and we look forward to seeing you next semester!
