Courses - University Work Service:
UNIV 100: Learning Strategies for College Success 1 cr.
A course designed to help the student acquire and sharpen the skills necessary for success in college. Includes learning and memory, motivation, test anxiety, reading for comprehension, time budgeting, and other skills. Three hours of lecture.

UNIV 200: University Work Service 3 cr.
Prerequisite: completion of 24 credit hours with a 2.2 cumulative GPA. The course consists of a minimum of 120 hours of employment with area businesses and organizations. An orientation session, self-paced modules, and a written final report are required. May be repeated for a maximum of six credit hours with the approval of the academic advisor from the student’s college. Three hours of credit on a pass/no credit basis.
