Pilots ready for action after GCAC sweep over Mobile (3/2/2004)
The LSUS Pilots (9-3, 5-1) are tied for first in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference standings with William Carey College Crusaders at 5-1. Fresh off a three game sweep of the Mobile University Rams this past weekend, the Pilots are taking their 4 game win streak to Pilot field tonight as they will take on La Teurneau University at 6:30pm. LSUS is scheduled to have a double-header tomorrow versus Texas College with the game time yet to be decided due to the weather forecast for Wednesday. The Pilots will then travel to Hattiesburg, MS to battle for top spot in the GCAC versus William Carey College in a three game series this weekend. Game one is scheduled for Friday night at 6:30pm. The double-header scheduled for Saturday will begin at 1:00pm.
