Porche enters his second season as a graduate assistant, while studying to complete his masters degree.

Porche finished his baseball career at LSUS in 2008 after transferring to the Pilot baseball from Louisiana Tech.

Porche remains a member of the LSUS coach Rocke Musgraves' staff, hoping to jump start his coaching career.  Porche is looking to follow in the footsteps of his father Chris Porche, who is renowned baseball coach in the Baton Rouge area after having coached over 15 years at Redemptorist High School.

Porche has gained valuable experience in the coaching profession, leading the 18U Gametime Angels over the past two summers.

Porche is married to the former Crystal Jones. (August 7, 2009) The couple resides in Bossier City, Louisiana.
