Women’s Council of Realtors Scholarship
Purpose:
To provide financial assistance to a deserving full- or part-time student within the CBA, who might be interested in a career in Real Estate.
Award value:
$500 (semester) if funds are available
Major:
Financial Services
Number awarded:
One or two per year - pending funds
Selection Criteria:
(1) preference given to Financial Services majors; (2) must be interested in a possible career in Real Estate; (3) must have completed a minimum of 60 hours; (4) will complete one Real Estate course; (5) must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA, 3.0 preferred.
Restriction:
Must apply for the scholarship through the Dean’s Office in the CBA.
Recipient Selection:
CBA Scholarship Selection Committee after interview by Dr. Douglas Bible
Retention Criteria:
Student must maintain 2.5 or better GPA.
