South Shreveport Rotary Charles Vestal Memorial Scholarship
Purpose:	To provide financial assistance to a deserving student within the CBA, who can provide documentation of financial need for completing his/her academic career; provided in honor of Charles Vestal.
Award value:	$1,600 per year ($800/semester)
Major:	Any CBA undergraduate or graduate major.
Number awarded:	One per year
Selection Criteria:	(1) must be a CBA student; (2) must be financially responsible for himself/herself and must provide a statement of need; (3) minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate and 3.0 for graduate student; (4) can be awarded to any level student in the CBA. The student currently holding the scholarship will be given first consideration for the next year.
Restriction:	(1) Student is expected to make a short address to the South Shreveport Rotary Club at least four weeks after the notification of selection; (2) the student is encouraged, not required, to attend the monthly meetings of the South Shreveport Rotary Club.
Recipient Selection:	CBA Scholarship Selection Committee and approved by a member of the South Shreveport Rotary Club.
Retention Criteria:	Must maintain a 2.5 undergraduate or 3.0 graduate GPA
