Northwest LA Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship
Purpose:	To provide financial assistance either partial or full in paying student’s summer school tuition.
Award value:	$500 for the spring semester
Major:	Management
Number awarded:	One per year
Selection Criteria:	(1) GPA of 3.0 or greater in their major of Management; (2) overall GPA of 2.5 or greater; (3) earned 60 hours or more of college level credit; (4) strong desire to pursue a career in HRM. Special consideration will be given to current members of the LSUS chapter of SHRM.

Recipient Selection:	Selection committee to be composed of the Board of the NW LA Chapter of SHRM (Shreveport-Bossier).
Retention Criteria:	Student’s GPA may not fall below 2.5.
