To assist students with proven financial need to prepare for a profession in the business community. |

Selection Criteria: |
Recipients must be enrolled in the CBA with preference given to an accounting major. The recipient must be enrolled for at least 12 hours at LSUS and have earned at least a 2.75 LSUS cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to single parents with proven financial need. |
Restriction: |
Award can be used for fall and spring semesters only. The recipient may not be receiving another LSUS scholarship. This award will not be affected by receipt of Title IV Federal Student Aid or other awards/scholarships received from private donors not affiliated with LSUS or LA. |
Recipient Selection: |
CBA Scholarship Selection Committee. Students may apply directly to the CBA or may be nominated by faculty or staff. |
Retention Criteria: |
The recipient must enroll for at least 12 credit hours at LSUS during each of the two awarded semesters, maintain at least a 2.75 overall GPA, and pass 12 hours for the fall semester to retain the award for the second semester. |
