Purpose: |
To provide financial assistance to a student enrolled in the CBA for a continued academic career. |

$1,000 per year ($500/semester) |

To be determined by funds available for disbursement; usually one per year. |
Selection Criteria: |
(1) Must have at least a 20 composite score on the ACT exam; (2) must have at least a 2.5 overall GPA in high school, based on a 4.0 scale; (3) if earning university credit, must have a 2.5 overall GPA in college courses. |
Restriction: |
Must be enrolled in the CBA for the semester prior to applying for scholarship. Must have submitted scholarship application to the Dean of the CBA by the appropriate deadline. |

Retention Criteria: |
(1) Must continue enrollment as a full-time student in the CBA at LSUS; (2) must maintain a minimum 2.5 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in major for each semester the scholarship is awarded. |
