The
College of Business Administration is the home to many
outreach services to the campus and to the community,
including the Center for Business and Economic Research,
the Louisiana Consortium of Insurance and Financial Services,
and the Small Business
Development Center.
Center
for Business and Economic Research
The LSUS Center for Business and Economic
Research (CBER) works with area Chambers of Commerce and
other organizations and businesses committed to promoting
business development. The Center has been designated as
a Census Information Center, one of only 59 in the country.
The Center is an official test center for CLEP tests.
Louisiana
Consortium of Insurance and Financial Services
The Louisiana Consortium of Insurance and
Financial Services at LSUS provides educational programming
for financial and insurance planning throughout Louisiana.
Small
Business Development Center
The LSUS Small Business Development Center
(SBDC) provides counseling and training programs to over
400 small business owners annually. The Center provides
management assistance to existing and developing businesses
and conducts programs designed to meet the needs of the
economically disadvantaged.
