purpose of the Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM) is to help students broaden their understanding
of the management career field; to keep students up
to date on current issues in the human resource career
field; to offer opportunities to meet human resource
managers from the Shreveport/Bossier area; to help
the students develop and broaden their education to
prepare them for a career in management (specifically
