Felice Williams is originally from Trinidad and Tobago which is the southern most islands in the Caribbean. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, she pursued a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the master’s level. She did her doctoral work at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Virginia. After graduating with her master’s degree, she joined DCI Consulting in Washington D.C., a Human Resources risk management firm, where she was a consultant. Felice is a member of the Academy of Management (AOM), as well as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and has been a presenter at both of these international conferences. Felice teaches Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management at LSUS and her research interests include conflict dynamics, groups and teams, and social networks. Currently she is working on several projects which include examining the potential use of social networks as a hybrid mediational approach in organizations to address affective conflict. She is also studying conflict dynamics in decision making groups and the related interaction behavior during the conflict process.
