Dr. Taylor received his Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in May 1981. In 1991, Dr. Taylor joined the faculty at LSUS as a Professor of Marketing. Prior to LSUS, Dr. Taylor taught at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Southwest Missouri State University, Texas A & M – Commerce, and California State University in San Bernardino. He was a visiting professor at University of Hawaii in Hilo (Spring 1988) and at Chung Yuan Christian University in Chung, Li, Taiwan (1997/98). While in Taiwan, Dr. Taylor received a Certified Professor Certification which allows him to teach at any university in Taiwan as a Certified Professor of Marketing. Dr. Taylor is an active professor member of the Direct Marketing Association and professional member in the Society for Marketing Advances and the Marketing Management Association. His most recent article is entitled, “A Longitudinal Study of Taiwanese Consumers’ Attitudes toward Products from the U.S. and Japan,” The International Journal of Business Disciplines, 2008 (Winter), Vol. 19 No. 2, pp. 1-7.
