Dr. Sibylle Mabry teaches Information Systems Management and Organizational Communication. She received her MBA and her bachelor’s in Political Science from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and her doctorate in Information Technology (IT) Management from Capella Graduate School of Business and Technology. Her current research focuses on IT infrastructure capabilities, the impact of organizational leadership on strategic IT investments, and the building of business agility via innovative IT architecture.
Dr. Mabry has a diverse teaching background. Before joining the LSUS faculty, she worked for a computer learning-center, using new instructional strategies to teach computer application software. In Europe, Dr. Mabry taught foreign languages at the German Military Academy and introduced international business communication to business professionals at the German Vocational Academy. At LSUS she has developed innovative course structure plans for 100% distance learning and is now researching new learning techniques for hybrid courses in the management information systems discipline.
