ISSWOV 2008 Conference Accommodations
The conference venue is Carlton Hotel Singapore, a 4-star hotel in the heart of Singapore's vibrant city centre, within walking distance of some of Singapore's most popular tourist attractions: museums, shopping centres, night markets, Little India, Sultan Mosque, Raffles Hotel, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay, Merlion Park and The Marina Bay area, as well as Singapore's excellent public transport system. For more information, visit the Carlton Hotel's website by clicking on the link above or by going to http://www.carlton.com.sg/.
Special Conference Rates. We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at special accommodation rates for those who wish to stay at the hotel for the duration of the conference. These rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis and the special rates only apply up to March 23, 2008. There are two types of room available (Deluxe Room - approx USD185 per night, Premier Room – approx USD205 per night); both can accommodate single or twin sharing and the larger Premier room can accommodate triple sharing (at approx USD230 for the room per night).
Extended Stay. The hotel has also said that it will retain
the special rates if you wish to extend your stay up to 4 nights beyond the
conference (ie.,
from
June
22-29),
dependant on room availability for the extra nights. We encourage people to
consider staying for a few extra days in Singapore.
