Carole Preston teaches Information System and Decision Science (ISDS) courses for the School of Business. Prior to becoming a faculty member, Ms. Preston had been an adjunct instructor at LSUS for 8 years. During this time, she also served as the Assistant Director for the Center for Business and Economic Research Department (CBER) located on the LSUS campus.
Ms. Preston manages the school of business computer labs with responsibilities for hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising lab workers; scheduling usage of the labs; and maintaining the lab equipment with service provided by the IT department. She serves on the assurance of learning (AOL) committee, the college technology committee, and as the faculty advisor for the Sigma Iota Epsilon honorary and professional management fraternity. She also prepares and administers the Business Computer Application (ISDS 150) Exit Exam.
Ms. Preston received her MBA and bachelor degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and received an associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Bossier Parish Community College.
